So I get a phone call from one of the ladies working down stairs (1 floor down!)
E: Hi there, can you give me your fax number?
Me: Sure. Its xxx-xxxx. Why do you need it?
E: Oh, I dont feel like walking upstairs again to give R her report, I thought I would just fax it instead.
I was away from my desk for 5 minutes, the following is the ‘conversation’ that took place.
RM: G, is the fax working?
K: G isn’t at her desk.
RM: Ok, P, is the fax working?
K: P isn’t at her desk either.
RM: Ok, is the fax working?
B (at the top of her lungs): NO!
My first thought when RM told me all this was why didn’t K just tell her it wasn’t working in the first place?
Am I wrong?
