Another classic from Bob.
The IT guy walks into Bob’s office, he is practically crying he is laughing so hard.
Bob: IT Guy, whats so funny?
IT Guy: I got an urgent call to fix a problem with a computer.
Bob: What was the problem.
IT Guy: Well, you see, she wasn’t receiving emails. So I checked the connections, I checked Outlook, I checked everything I could possibly check.
Bob: And, what was the problem?
IT Guy: No one has sent her any…
Another gem from Bob.
A (rather frantically): Bob, Bob, you have to help me! My screen has gone white!
Bob takes a look.
Bob: A, you have a word document open…
I had a great chat on Skype* yesterday with a colleague (lets call him Bob) who no longer works for us, he gave me some absolute gems!
Here is one from before my time at this job…
Bob: “A, please switch off your computer.”
A switches of the monitor.
Bob: “Okay, but what about the computer?”
A: “I did.”
Bob: “No, thats the monitor, what about the big metal box next to you on the floor?”
A: “I always wondered what that was…”
* I was crying I was laughing so hard, good thing I couldnt look him in the eyes, I would have literally been on the floor if he had. Thanks ‘Bob”!
